Water Happiness Movement

Kaohsiung International Container Art Festival 2001
Kaohsiung, Taiwan 2001/12/8~2002/1/6
Let us all be 'Water Sender' transporting 'Water Happiness' to the future.
After 50 years from now, it is supposed, number of people suffering seriously from shortage of 'water' will reach to 66 countries, two third of the population of all the world. We can imagine that 'water' must be one of the Earths' most precious resources which can bring the fundamental 'happiness' on the people living on the future planet. And also we can recognize that 'water' might be our medium for promoting 'happy' exchange between people regardless of cultural, national or religious differences and disagreements. For those who are seriously worrying about the future, transferring to ‘Water Happiness’ must be grasped as suggestive and inspiring activity about forthcoming times on the Earth.

The exhibition invites you, as one of partners living with the Water Culture, to be 'Water Sender', transporting 'Water Happiness' from the exhibition site to another place where people are suffering from the water problem. During the exhibition, you can have opportunities to participate in Water Happiness Movement through two ways: Creating Water Happiness & Sharing it among us all. The 'Water Happiness Movement’ will ask all the participants; " What kind of water can you carry to the generation living on the Water Planet in the future?"
